* If you have the skill, work as a charcoal artist in a thoroughfare of a shopping or tourist area.

* Unique business to make peg calendars. A peg calendar consists of a block of wood with a line of 31 holes for days, 12 holes for months, and 10 holes for years. Three tiny pegs indicate the date and are moved each day accordingly. The calendar can hang from a wall like a thermometer or sit on a desk.

* Arrange for a set of pictures to be printed to look like old cigarette cards. Turn out hundreds of framed sets and sell to wholesalers and gift shops.

* If you can draw amusing characatures call door-to-door to show people samples of your work and offer to draw one on the spot.

* Found a year-book for people who do creative things with their hands, such as painters, drawers, sculptors, cartoonists, illustrators, cartoonists, engravers, etc. Also list buyers of art, art schools, art fairs, etc. Have the year-book stocked at bookshops, artists supplies shops, craftshops and sell by mail.

* Produce and distribute souvenir boxes of matches. Each matchbox is painted with a picture postcard scene of a tourist area. Also produce a souvenir pack which contains a selection of different boxes. This pack can be bought by people as a gift or taken home for personal use.

But their eagerness drive them much nearer to it than those whose laziness and despondency make them give it up as an imperfection. Passionate workers put extra care in their work and they aren’t satisfy for anything less.

At this point you might be asking either one or more of the following questions:
1. Do I need passion even though my work is just a home business?
2. To whom will I use passion?
3. What will passion do for me? What is its impact in my performance?
4. How may I know my passion?

The last question on the list is very interesting. In one way or the other, passion creates a difference in terms of performance between a passionate worker and the other. What do you like the most? What are your interests? What type of job do you enjoy the most? The answers to these questions vary depending on the personality of a worker. But whatever will it be, if you can answer the questions then that will be your checklist on how you may know your passion. Each worker has different passion. One’s passion is not the same with the other. Your job as a home business representative takes a little talking to different people. If you found that your passion is more on communication, then you are really entitled for the home business. If you like to deal with different people and enjoy front liner’s job, you are really fitted for the home business.

My answer to this question was a “Yes”. But not every Tom, Dick and Harry could grow a home business. I gave the 11 things you needed in order not to be a home business starter, but also a home business success.

There are many excellent free rotators on the web. A good one will provide you information about the number of page hits sent to each product and where the incoming hits came from.

(d) TinyURL

Most page rotators have quite long names. These can be off-putting to prospective customers. So go to a site named www.tinyurl.com. There you can type in a long name. It will be shortened into something which works better with your advertising campaigns (and protect your precious affiliate commission).

Pulling it all together:

1. Load up the page rotator for your free home based business with web pages of all the products you wish to sell. I suggest starting with no more than three.
2. Then create a tinyurl for your page rotator.
3. Place advertisements in every directory you can find
4. Add your link to the bottom of your emails
5. Join every free traffic exchange you can
6. Write and submit an article per week with your tinyurl in the bio line
7. Find a number of active forums and post helpful messages making sure your tinyurl is included in your signature line.
8. Start you own free blog. Put a new entry in your blog at least once per week. Make sure there are plenty of links to your free home based business products from your blog.

Always announce your blog updates using the tool at www.pingomatic.com.

Your objective is to get as many links back to your page rotator as you possibly can. The more people who see you links the more traffic to your rotator and the more sales you will make.

There it is, the basis of a free home based business and the start of your online empire.

Starting something new sucks.

Yup.  Plain and simple. I’m impatient and when I see something I want, I don’t want to have to go through the growing pains of getting it to where I want.

Can you relate to that?

For example, many of you know that I’m relatively new as an information marketer.  I started my career almost a year and a half ago and some people would say that I’ve enjoyed a fair amount of success in such a short period.

I would agree and I’m very happy with the progress that I’ve made.

However, being surrounded with marketing gurus like Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin, John Childers, Jim Edwards, and Matt Bacak, I see that I have a long way to go.

I know for a fact that these guys make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month on complete autopilot and their income only grows every year.

In addition I’ve enjoyed watching their students implement the strategies they’ve learned from these guys and then experience all kinds of success.  Now the key word there is IMPLEMENT!!

It didn’t take me long before I learned one of the most valuable lessons of my career.  You should memorize this because it will help you get more done, faster and you’ll be up and making money quicker and easier.

Here it is.  Write this down.

You Don’t Have To Get It Right,
You Just Have To Get It Going.

Success in life is nothing more than a series of small wins.  However most people try to tackle a HUGE project or idea and they get so overwhelmed that they never even begin.

Think about it…

Bill Gates didn’t create Windows XP before he created Windows 2000, or Windows 95 or even Windows 3.1.  But let me ask you a question…

Do you think he would have the market dominance he has if he had waited until he had completed Windows XP?
NO way.

All he did was get going.  I guarantee you many of the ideas he had in the later versions of Windows were initially dreamed of when he first created Windows 3.1 but he didn’t wait for it to be absolutely perfect.

He just got going.

So, I sat back and started asking myself questions.  I was looking for answers as to why people like Alex, Armand and John just keep on experiencing tremendous success, project after project, and why I was struggling to get my projects up, completed and making money.

Through this reflection I saw something that was holding me back.  Perhaps you’ve experienced this yourself.
Here is the problem:

I was trying to tackle the whole project all at once instead of breaking it down into bite size pieces.  This resulted in me getting irritated, overwhelmed and disheartened.

Then within the exact same week Armand Morin showed me something that really hit home.

I had proudly opened my laptop and started my mind mapping software where I had brainstormed all kinds of new product and business ideas.

With passion and excitement I enthusiastically began to tell him what I was planning on doing.  Then he did something I will never forget.

He grabbed my computer mouse and closed my mind mapping program.

I was dumbfounded.  Was he kidding or was this some kind of lesson?

Here is what he said:

“Stop Generating New Ideas And
Start Implementing The Ones You Have!!”

Talk about a wake up call!!
Generating ideas was my form of procrastination.  That was a “light bulb moment”.  I wasn’t getting any of my ideas completed because every time I came across an obstacle I would stop what I was doing and start brainstorming on something completely different and unrelated.

Can you relate to that?

So let me ask you a question…

What form of procrastination is preventing you from getting your projects completed?

Armand explained his point by making another demonstration.  He opened his computer and logged on to the Internet and took me to several of his websites where he has products available for sale.  Then he said, “I want to buy what you have for sale.  Take me to your website”.

Guess what?

I didn’t have one.

I only had two explanations why – I didn’t have any completed projects for sale and/or I didn’t have a sales page up for my completed projects.

Duhhh!!

You Can’t Make Money Until You Launch Your Projects

He hit me square between the eyes by showing me what I was doing to sabotage my success.  His outside perspective seems so obvious in hindsight but I can honestly say that without it I wouldn’t have made the $111,000+ I did on my most recent project.

Completed projects can do wonders for you and your business because they BUILD MOMENTUM.

You can’t build a BIG snowman until you create a snowball and get it rolling.  The same principle applies to your information marketing business.  You can’t make $1,000,000 until you make $100,000.  Similarly you can’t make $100,000 until you make $10,000 and you can’t make $10,000 until you make $1,000.

So often we are trying to go for the million right out of the gates and we get disappointed and frustrated when it doesn’t happen.

So the moral of this story …

Just get your projects completed and available for someone to buy!!
